Pinnacle Arkose 3 (2018) gravel bike, medium - full hydraulic Shimano 105

Pinnacle Arkose 3 (2018) gravel bike, medium - full hydraulic Shimano 105 11 speedVery good used condition - please read listing and view images carefully before bidding, as I have tried to detail the bike exhaustively, especially any issues and imperfections.Quick video to accompany listing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yR8gzE6eGOMPlenty of write-ups of this model available online, the one from road.cc perhaps being the most comprehensive: https://road.cc/content/review/236098-pinnacle-arkose-3-2018 Reason for sale: this bike has been an excellent commuter, but also an excellent gateway drug into gravel riding. An opportunity to take advantage of my employer's cycle scheme has resulted in the purchase of a needlessly expensive, but ultimately very similar rig with a view to touring / backpacking in the UK in the next few years. Limited space means this one must go. Collection only from North London (NW5 - Highgate, near Hampstead Heath) - OR free delivery in person to any addresses within a 10 mile radius. Delivery to addresses further away is possible, but depends on the drive - you must confirm with me beforehand if this is the case. Cannot box up for delivery, though buyer is welcome to explore own collection / courier options.SPECIFICATIONFrame:Aluminium frame, carbon forks. Frame is a medium size - there are various size guides available online, but it's roughly equivalent to a 54cm in old money (my new bike is a 54cm Trek and is perfectly comparable in size). FSA headset.Drivetrain:Shimano BRS-505 levers, hydraulic brakes. Slightly fancier Ice-Tech rotor at the front; more standard one-piece Shimano rotor at the back. Shimano 11-32 cassette at the back (think it's a 105 cassette), 105 front and rear mechs, with a Praxis Works compact (50/34) chainset up front, so a really wide range of gears. KMC X11 chain. Cassette and chain in good condition, and you can  see from one of the images that there's plenty of life left in the chain. Finishing kit: Pinnacle bars (42cm) with black Cinelli cork tape (good condition), generic 80mm stem, unbranded alloy seatpost. Will ship with standard, black plastic platform pedals and Selle Italia X1 saddle (not pictured - Selle Italia Flite saddle in images is not included). Wheels & TyresStock wheels - WTP i19 rims on Novatec hubs 32mm Continental Hardshell tyres (note that this has been changed from stock). These wheels can be (and were) set up tubelessISSUES / THINGS TO BE AWARE OFI spent years working in bike shops, so tend to be pretty fastidious in terms of cleaning and maintenance. I've tried to list (and visually illustrate) these issues exhaustively in the spirit of transparency. None of these issues have any significant issues on the operation of the bike in real world use.Rack mount, drive side: (see image 5 and video) One of the rack bosses on the drive side is unusable because of a sheared bolt. There are two bosses on that part of the seat stay, so you can still fit a rack (I continued to do so with no issue) - so this will only be an issue if you intend to run both rack and mudguards using those bosses. The movement of the rack has also grazed off a patch of paint down to the bare frame, as shown in the images / video. In practice, this has never Paintwork: The frame has Marks scratches and chips consistent with use (see pictures / video). Lots of these are concentrated on the drive side chainstay. These obviously only superficial marks, and could easily be covered up with protective tape or an inner tube. Rear Wheel: Slight audible roughness in bearings. I was advised by a mechanic following purchase that this didn't warrant replacement. Probably only worth replacing bearings are further down the line with more wear. There is also a very, very slight  vertical 'hop' in terms of trueness, though trueness is well within acceptable tolerances.Bottom bracket - very, very slight play in BB when rocking crank arms by hand. After purchasing the bike I was advised by mechanic this was negligible enough not to warrant a replacement and that the bottom bracket could be replaced further down the line (standard outboard threaded BB makes this very easy to do). Does not affect the performance of shifting, and not noticeable while riding. Superficial scuffs to outside of both levers - but not caused by crashes I had on bike.In summary:Do NOT buy if you are after a bike in immaculate cosmetic conditionDo consider if you are after a useable and robust commuter, or winter bike, or capable and versatile gravel machine with reliable hydraulic componentry and really large tyre clearance.
