Vintage road racing French frame by “Gitane” from mid 90’s Centre tube: 60cm, from seat post to bottom bracketTop tube: 53cm, from seat post to headsetBottom tube 53cm, from headset to bottom bracket The frame is made of steel and can be characterized as a “mid weight”.No bends, repairs or damages have been done to the frame, just painted in Matt paint and in black finish. All rare derailleurs are present if gears needed to be fitted onto the frame. Seat post diameter is 25.4mmHeadset is a traditional 1” (inch) or 22.2mm to fit the quill stem if neededBoth front and rear wheels are of 700c size in diameter Wheels are from earlier 90’s, aero carbon fiber ones. They are made by American company “Spinergy” model Rev X. Both wheels are in good shape and form. Straight and true and has never been repaired or damaged.The breaking surface is of aluminum and will take traditional rubber padsThe wheels are clincher type. Wheels come with semi used Continental Gatorskin, Gran Prix TT clincher tyres and 23mm in size. The handlebars are Italian “Cinelli” Angel with pair of “Dia Compe” break levers and carbon handlebar tape by “Zipp”. And a pair of black “Dia Compe” breaks, is pre fitted onto the bike frame. Seat post is an aero one and made by Italian “Gipiemme”, 25.4mm clamp size.Saddle is a very lovely genuine and old styled Italian made “San Marco”, model type “Concor”. Crank set is a vintage one for “Victory” and made by “Campagnolo”, Italy.It has 53T and the arms length is 170mm. It has an engraved old shield logo.All teeth are in perfect shape and have never been damaged. Crank set is straight, true and light weight. Bottom bracket is by “Campagnolo”, 116mm axle. Pedals are vintage and rare pair of “Mavic” from France. They come together with and old classic toe cages made in Britain and Italian leather straps by “Gerardin”. The rear wheel has a free, single speed hub and the cog is of 16T. It can be used for speed cassette if needed.Both front and rear wheel have Italian skewers made by “Campagnolo”. PS. The bike is for sale as a complete build and will not be split in parts or pieces.The bike comes with a freebee and it is a rear wheel, similar to the one fitted to the bike, nut it will need another hub spindle. Or you may simply switch the hub spindle from the rear wheel already fitted to the hub, and to use it on the spare wheel. The spare rear wheel is all same Rev X by Spinergy, but tubular one.
