Lightweight vintage aluminium bike from Kettler. Despite being an aluminium bike, this is accepted at Eroica because it is built with bonded aluminium tubes, like Alan and Vitus frames.I built the bike from various vintage parts I bought around. There are two non-vintage parts: the wheels (which however have a low profile) and the seat post. Vintage posts are usually quite short and I needed a longer one, so went for a modern one.Bike specs:- Size: seat tube C-T 58 cm, top tube C-C 58 cm- Group set: Shimano Altus, downtube shifters- Cassette: modern Shimano 6 speed 14-28- Crankset: 53-39- Brakes: Dia Compe- Brake levers: Weinmann (brakes are set up the "continental" way...)- Handlebars and stem: SR Sakae- Wheels: Weinmann XR18 (not vintage) + Schwalbe Lugano- Saddle: Royal Sprint- Brand new cables and outer casing- New bar tape, although being white it got dirty pretty quicklyGiven the age, the frame is in very good condition except for the stickers. Made in West Germany.I built this bike to ride Eroica Limburg last year, but ended up using a different bike.I prefer collection, but can arrange to ship it (please allow me a few days to arrange it).Any questions please don't hesitate to ask!
