This is a fantastic, hand built racing bike from CBT Italia. The 23”/59cm frame is hand built with Columbus Gara steel tubing, which has a grooved detail on the top and down tube, giving the frame a very individual look. With the chrome front forks and 3/4 chrome finish on the rear forks and chain stays it gives the bike a very stylish vintage look! The group set is Shimano 105 RD-1055 from the early 1990’s. The brake levers/shifters have been updated, but the rest of components are original. The handle bars are the classic Cinelli Giro d’Italia 64 (42cm wide) and these are finished with a very 90’s retro bar tape. The saddle is a very nice San Marco Rolls, a comfy, stylish classic mounted on to a nice Miche seat post. There is a cycle club name painted on the frame, Saint Drenan, along with the original owners name and town stamped on a hand made aluminium tag attached to the seat clamp. This racer would make a great and stylish winter trainer, or an eye catching daily ride, with a minimum of work. It would definitely benefit from a new set of tyres and tubes!!I would love to keep this, but don’t have the space for another classic racer!Payment is by PayPal or on collection.Collection only, unless postage is agreed prior to the auction ending.Feel free to ask questions.
